After a very unusual two years, we suspect this summer holiday period is very different for many of us. However, it is the time that our children spend winding down to enjoy a period away from their schools, and a time we get busy and are going back to school. Fortunately for us, we don’t have exams to worry about or homework to complete. Our task is to carry out a multitude of school external cleaning operations. The outcome is to restore those hard surfaces ready for the new Autumn term.
Cleaning hard surfaces in schools is a very common practice at Great Outdoors and In. When schools are busy, there really isn’t the opportunity apart from weekends to carry out this work, so invariably schools look to the major holiday periods where they can bring in various trades to repair and clean throughout a school, in readiness of the masses to return.
Our role is invariably contributed to the following services:
- School canopy cleaning
- Chewing gum, and sometimes Graffiti removal from pavements and walls
- Roof cleaning and repairs
- Wet Pour playground cleaning
- Tarmac and pavement cleaning
- Lots of pressure washing
Indeed, we clean all types of hard surfaces within school footprints, and very often these projects can last for a period of weeks, hence the summer holiday period being a perfect time for an efficient ‘clean’ sweep of a multitude of tasks.
