Great Outdoors Exterior Cleaning was contacted by a tenant, leasing an Industrial Unit based in Milton Keynes. The Industrial unit had come to the end of the lease, and part of the terms of the lease was to maintain the condition of the unit. Hence extensive exterior cleaning was required to return the unit to as new condition.
The exterior cleaning included gutter cleaning, all fascia cladding, steam cleaning brickwork, and cleaning the entrance fencing into the secure yard. Due to the height of the industrial unit, a suitable articulated boom was required for access.
The first task was to clean the guttering using an industrial gutter vacuum powered by a generator. Once the guttering was cleaned work was started on the fascia/cladding, applying a suitable chemical to the cladding and rinsing using industrial pressure washers. The brickwork was then steam cleaned removing old carbon/ traffic film staining, which had built up over the years of neglect. Fencing around the secure yard was steam cleaned returning it to as new condition. Finally, the office windows were cleaned using our onboard reach and wash system. During the clean work was contained in a cordoned area to comply with standard Health and safety regulations, keeping both the cleaning operatives and Industrial unit employees safe and protected. Full RAMS were produced for the tenants.
As the tenant was so amazed by the exterior cleaning results achieved, Great Outdoors Exterior Cleaning was given the additional task of pressure washing all of the external paving, removing green algae that was making the surface slippery and dangerous, and restoring the paving to a safe condition for the Industrial units employees. Once the paving was cleaned it was noted how the walkways were brighter and easier to navigate in the winter evenings.
